Although minimal repair work can be carried out on site, it is preferable to bring the structure into our workshop in Cradley Heath, when a more extensive repair is required. Our workshop is fully equipped to deal with any repair work whether on a small or large scale.

Oakham Fabrications and Engineers can work with a wide variety of materials including steel, cast iron, wrought iron, stainless steel and others, basically all materials that are used to produce staircases, balustrades, school fencing, stately gates and railings.

After blast cleaning, badly corroded metalwork sections can be removed and replaced, using a variety of processes, dependent on the architects’ requirements. Some of the processes we use to restore metalwork include shot blasting, galvanising, anodising, surface painting and surface powder coating, creating the unique appearance that the client desires.
