Oakham Fabrications are also specialists in the installation, repair and restoration of coastal railings.

We have all done it - been to the seaside in the spring and seen the brightly coloured, freshly painted iron railings along the promenade, only to return in the autumn to see them covered in red rust. Our team work to maintain these railings, and we can take care of any refurbishment work required, reviving the metalwork. In addition to work around our hometown of Cradley Heath, we work in seaside towns throughout the nation, and have done for over 30 years.

Coastal authorities generally tend to move away from the traditional use of iron and mild steel, where corrosion is inevitable. As such, there are various other materials we can use to meet the needs of the project and our client.

Oakham Fabrications of Cradley Heath have been involved in several projects such as Blackpool seafront and Southport pier, which both resulted in the use of both marine-grade stainless steel and anodised aluminium.
